@Helen: Thanks Helen. I'd never seen males and females at the same time until this season. I'd also never seen them fluffed-up, and was surprised to see that they didn't lose their smooth texture.
I do so love these birds. That tufted crown of theirs was just sheer genius by mother nature. Beautiful, my friend!! The composition is excellent and that grey-ish sky behind enhances the waxwings colour remarkably. How ya doin'?

@amy: Thanks Amy. This is the first season I've had the fortune to see them flock. I suspect they are nesting near my blind, so I may just get to see fledglings later this spring. Knock wood.
