I love to hear a Dove and now I've seen one in detail. They're beautiful. My other favorite to hear is a Whipporwill, but I've never seen one...hint, hint :)

Great capture of such a striking pose the dove did! I'd love to shoot in bird photography.. But sadly don't have the right equipment for it

@Ming: It's not the equipment, it's control of the light. (I've learned this from many elder photographers.)
It may encourage you to know that this was shot with a Canon 300D with some firmware modifications. You've only to hold still for the birds to come to you. Your 400D is perfectly capable. Patience.
