What a beauty! The wings are superb, what a moment in time! I am very impressed with the DOF here Matt. I guess you were as pleased as Punch with this shot?

@Helen: Thanks Helen. The light was just bright enough to shoot at F/5.6, and the bird was kind enough to return to the same bunch of blackberry blossoms twice, so I was able to get it on the second go. Pleased indeed.

This is a wonderful shot. I love how you caught the motion in the wings but still were able to get some of the detail of the feathers as well.
