Heron Dining on Catfish :: Four

Heron (Árdea heródias) dining on catfish (Catfishus pre-mortum?)

And then he decided to eat the better part of the foliage on this small island.

Having observed the tenacity of catfish in my youth, and further observing this heron's obvious discomfort, I suspect this was an attempt to finish off his prey with roughage.
