Ah, now I can see it is definitely not the animal I saw. I note by the latin name that it appears to be related to a beaver? If so I didn't realise a beaver was a rodent. Mmmm ... this becomes more and more interesting. I'll be off to do a little googling I think. Thanks Matt. Amazing the effect a bird photo can have on others isn't it?
