Apart from the superb capture (just look at the wings...wow!), the twigs create a fabulous balanced composition amid the snow. Terrific DOF too!

Fantastic composition. The branches lead straight to the subject and the colours are indicative of Winter. To top it off you've got a little snow on the back of this very cold looking bird.
