This is the kind of image I wouldn't convert to B&W simply because you lose attention from the bird, but if that's the affect you were going for, it's well achieved. A nice shot either way.

@Aaron Schmidt: Thanks for the rare and welcome comment. The bird seemed to feel it was invisible in this setting, though the trees were literally pointing right at it. Thus the treatment- B/W was the easy choice to convey the effect, though a proper title remains elusive. Cheers.

The trees work well in B&W. I agree the bird is 'hidden' but it lends that little air of 'go seek'. Perhaps if you bring out a touch of colour just in the bird?
