Lia from Atlanta, United StatesI love waterfalls. This is an excellent shot, nice angle. Where is this place?? 2 Dec 2006 6:07am Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanOMG that is a massive water fall...wow I wish you had a person on that bridge to really give the picture scope but by the look of that weather nobody would be game enough to perch themselves in front of that water. I love it!! Great contrast of colour and season between the white and the green. 2 Dec 2006 10:51am nicole from United StatesMT - you always amaze me! this and yesterday's SUPURB! your artwork is breathtaking! 2 Dec 2006 4:10pm Craiger from Vacaville, United StatesNice job! I've never seen these falls in the winter. Makes me want to go! 2 Dec 2006 4:39pm Matt Trujillo Photography from Portland, United States@ Kelly- The falls have just begun to freeze this year. This was taken last February. The trail to the bridge in the image had washed out, though people still tend not to linger for obvious reasons. This is actually a detail of another shot. I added a scale, and posted a teeny tiny version of it here: http://www.mtrujillo.com/multnomahfalls.html 2 Dec 2006 8:09pm Matt Trujillo Photography from Portland, United States@ Lia- This and several other spectacular waterfalls are located in the Columbia River Gorge in northwest Oregon, about 90 minutes from where I live. I placed a link to the State of Oregon's answer to your question here: http://www.mtrujillo.com/multnomahfalls.html 2 Dec 2006 8:16pm Matt Trujillo Photography from Portland, United States@ Craiger- Bring your glacier gear. The winds that cause all this beauty are no fun to work in. You might also like the link posted above. 2 Dec 2006 8:22pm Matt Trujillo Photography from Portland, United States@ Nicole- Thanks!
