@ Kelly- I spent three and a half years in Detroit. The standard USA slang adjectives have no effect. I've no idea what dialect you are speaking, but "corker" and "mate" hold a bit more linguistic weight than standard USA urban-speak. Which is to say, thank you for your continued enthusiasm, and please pepper it with all the colorful language you might see fit.
