Mate...this is such an abstract shot...I:m sure I wasn:t the only one turning my head horizontally to try and figure this one out. Can you explain this picture a little more. It:s fantastic.

This opportunitiy made me slam on the brakes as I drove through NW Portland. This is the underside of an overpass. The upper and lower portions of the photo are the North and South-bound roadways of a highway which drops off a bridge over the Willamette into Portland at this point. To the right (upper and lower), you see the concrete bridge supports. At the extreme right, (on the horizon,) is a security gate leading to a parking area. Left is top; right is bottom. Camera was tilted 90 degrees to horizontal, 20mm, ISO100, cable release, F/22. Thanks for asking.

Great abstract, haven't quite been able to get my brain to figure it out yet though.
I looked back at some of you work and I must say beautiful wildlife/action shots. I especially liked Heron Strike. I will have to come back and go through some more.
Oh and gotta Love Bassetts, my mom and dad had Bassetts and Beagles.

Matt .. my first reaction to your post was WHAT!!! No bird fix for me today? But looking at this stunning photo ... all is forgiven. It is extraordinary, well spotted and executed.

@ Helen- Thank you as always. It's winter on this side of the Earth; birds make themselves scarce.
